Episode 12

 

Sebastian's skullduggery and Willow's imbroglio are finally unwound in this climactic episode. Oliver prepares to take the plunge without checking what lurks under the water, and Frank returns to village life contented and ready for more hilarious mishaps. Many thanks for listening.

 

 


 

Episode 11

 

The staggering truth is revealed to a bewildered Frank by the mysterious stranger in the monastery garden, while Toby is more than a little disenchanted by Oliver's sudden reticence. On the other side of the village, Willow gets an unexpected visit from a brooding, well-dressed gentleman that might not be the fantasy she originally envisions!

 

 


 

Episode 10

 

A series of altercations, blunt weapons and revelations make this an episode not to miss. Frank, Mike and Penny seem crushed by the weight of their respective burdens as events spiral out of their control, while Sebastian literally and figuratively has his head in the clouds, as his agenda seems set for triumph ahead of schedule.

 

 


 

Episode 9

 

An entirely unexpected inheritance only adds to Frank's confused guilt, news of Mike's infidelity spreads across Puddleduck like wildfire, and Toby reveals a hint of his traumatic past to acolyte Oliver.

 

 


 

Episode 8

 

Willow becomes an unlikely agony aunt for her new apprentice Penny, and Sebastian revels in spreading slurs against his enemy. Meanwhile Tim and Frank debate putting the 'fun' into funeral for Ted.

 

 


 

Episode 7

 

Penny finds an ally where she least expects it in her darkest hour, and between a faulty satnav and gobby son, is Mike going to crack under the burden of his secret shame?

 

 


 

Episode 6

 

Oliver gets further ensconced in Toby's petty civil disobedience antics, while Mike attempts to tease some information from Willow, who is not adverse to a spot of inappropriate coercion herself...

 

 


 

Episode 5

 

An episode book-ended by metaphorical bombshells resulting from a literal bombshell. Unmissable tension abounds, as a revealing phone call obliges Mike to make a statement to the townsfolk, while Penny gets the cold shoulder from a distant Oliver.

 

 


 

Episode 4

 

A night of revelry and revelations for Tim is followed by an awkward moment for Oliver, as Penny lays down the law at a party. Meanwhile, Audrey and Helen decide to take up a new hobby together.

Roger and Tim's fishing trip gets off to a comical start, Willow consoles a distraught Frank, and Oliver bonds with a revolutionary friend.

A new face arrives in Puddleduck, as the Parish Council convene for an emergency quorum to debate the Puddleduck Farm debacle.

The aftermath of the Puddleduck Farm incident sets the village grapevine alight, with a frantic Frank trying to track down the elusive Ted. Meanwhile, Roger reaches out to Reverend Green for some impromptu male bonding.

Willow invites Frank over to drown his sorrows and Sebastian revels in Ted's humiliation. Meanwhile, Oliver and Penny try to move on from Gary.

Sebastian makes his play to bury Ted with Audrey's evidence of his wrongdoing, Frank understands Audrey's betrayal, and Penny confronts her sleazy blackmailer Gary...

 

 


 

Episode 9

 

Willow lets Audrey know exactly what she thinks of her treatment of Frank, Mike is sick of the antics of rock-bottom Puddleduck FC, and does college bully Jules Hudson actually have a sensible solution to Oliver and Penny's problems?

Ted has an unwitting prescient experience, as he warns Frank off dealing with Audrey, whose double-cross now extends to her negotiating directly with her next-door nemesis!

The full scale of Penny's blackmail crisis is literally laid bare. Meanwhile, Reverend Green's love of lady liquor prolongs pub landlord Roger's back problems!

Penny has an awkward date with destiny, as Mike and Ted reach a mutually beneficial fabrication...until Sebastian's birds' eye view blows it apart!

 

 


 

Episode 5

 

A spot of well-meaning snitching from Frank leads to Oliver narrowly escaping his mum's fussy clutches at an impromptu party, while Reverend Green's fire-and-brimstone is briefly extinguished by an unimpressed Mike.

 

 


 

Episode 4

 

The bricks hit the fan as Audrey takes on Sebastian's ill-conceived extension application, while a familiar figure is almost not forgiven for his inebriated trespasses!

 

 


 

Episode 3

 

Oliver's principles are briefly sacrificed at the altar of Puddleduck Church, as the bombastic Reverend Green is sought less for solace, than an alibi, by Ted.

 

 


 

Episode 2

 

Some thoughtless littering almost sees Ted Grimsdyke lead a pitchfork rebellion against Parish Council chairman Mike, but the Wellington boot is most definitely on the other foot when some local concerns about his own activities are raised...
